Hey, there!👋🏻 Not sure what to eat when you’re in Korea? How about visiting Bukchon Hanok Village and trying some of its famous local dishes?

Bukchon Hanok Village is a historic neighborhood in Seoul, once a traditional residential area filled with hanok houses nestled between Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, and Jongmyo Shrine. It’s a deeply significant place where Korea’s past is still beautifully preserved!

To get to Bukchon Hanok Village by subway, take Line 3 and get off at Anguk Station, then exit through Exit 2 for the closest route!

Bukchon Hanok Village has plenty of great restaurants, and I’ll introduce you to some local favorites!



Kkangtong Mandu (Steamed Dumplings)
1F, 5-6 Bukchon-ro 2-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul

It’s located near Exit 2 of Bukchon Hanok Village! This local spot is famous for its delicious dumpling soup, knife-cut noodles, and dumplings. There are plenty of great restaurants around, but I definitely recommend trying this one!



 O’sulloc Tea House Bukchon Branch
O’sulloc, 45 Bukchon-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul

O’sulloc is famous for its matcha, and the café itself is beautiful. It’s a great place to enjoy their signature matcha bingsu and a variety of matcha-based drinks!
